CCSA AUDITIONS

CCSA Auditions will be held inside Calamba City School for the Arts campus (Chipeco Avenue, Brgy. III, Calamba City.)

The auditions per Arts Specialization will  be conducted by the Arts Mentors. “First to Register, First to Audition” Policy will apply. Be prepared with your 1st choice and 2nd choice of arts specialization (the ones you indicated during the registration).

Guidelines per specialization:

Dance Arts:

1. Wear proper attire for your chosen dance genre.
2. Bring your own flash drive for the music, or your own speaker.
3. Performance should not exceed 3 minutes.

Music-Vocal

1. Prepare two (2) songs… One (1) classical, church or kundiman song, and one (1) song of your own choice.
2. Bring your own flash drive, or instrument for the music (if your performance is not A Cappella).
3. Performance should not exceed 3 minutes.

Music- Instrument

1. Bring your own instrument
2. Performance should not exceed 3 minutes.

Visual Arts

1. Bring a portfolio of your previous artworks.
2. Bring art materials such as bond paper (any size), pencil (any number and brand) color pastel, water color, canvas, paint, and the likes for on-the-spot drawing, sketching or painting.

Literary Arts

1. Bring a portfolio of your previous literary works such as poems, short stories, essays or other forms of literature, with a minimum of five (5) samples.
2. Bring a pencil or ballpen of any brand for on-the-spot literature writing.

Media Arts:

1. Bring a portfolio of photos that you have taken.
2. Bring a digital camera or a cell phone with a good camera for on-the-spot photo shoot.

Theater Arts

1. Wear the proper costume for your presentation.
2. Bring your own sound system if you are going to use music for your performance.

Important reminder: Failure to attend the auditions will mean forfeiture of your chance to land a slot in the enrolment.
